![]() It is the first cold day here in Evergreen since last winter. Sad to see summer and this beautiful fall weather go but the cold weather pushes me into my studio to paint. This is a Colorado pastel landscape of a high mountain meadow where we camped in Steamboat last year. I attended a wonderful Elizabeth Mowry pastel painting workshop in August and started this landscape painting there. One of many I would like to finalize.

Madam, I think you are a nice painter with skill. Art needs some special atmosphere and surroundings to paint. I wish to see some collections from you. Nature is a good platform for art.

I always look forward to winter season because of the snow and how cold it is that there is no need to use the air conditioner. Aside from that it brings me such comfort that I feel at ease, making me want to get creative. I am not a painter like you, but I am a writer. There are weathers that make us feel lazy and can't get anything done and there are also times when we feel inspired to make us finish the work that we have started. Your painting is beautiful by the way, you are good at what you do so continue on doing it.
